Job Description
Team Supervision:
Organize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned team to support their overall development. Promote SPL’s values and ethics in all activities within the team to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
Budgeting and Financial Performance:
Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
Provide inputs and implement policies, systems, and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/regulatory requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Customer Service Excellence:
Proactively engage with clients and provide solutions to achieve optimum client satisfaction and brand loyalty for SPL. Facilitate the review, enhancement, and implementation of processes to manage client relationships to enhance the customer journey in line with the organization’s customer experience strategy.
Reporting:
Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet SPL and department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Job Specific Accountabilities:
Monitor the management of Reward strategy in line with global best practices to manage internal equity, market competitiveness and overall employee satisfaction and performance.
Manage all aspects related to bonus structure design, merit increase, and salary reviews ensuring proper linkage to performance, to establish fairness, consistency, and pay-for-performance mentality across the organization.
Manage the creation and development of the holistic compensation philosophy to attract, motivate and retain the top performers at SPL.
Manage the design and implementation of initiatives policies related to the holistic compensation philosophy through compensation programs in order to better motivate employees for incentives and compensations provided for effective performance.
Supervise the preparation of studies on performance, incentives and compensation and link the same to the results of employee evaluation in accordance with the established principles and standards.
Communicate and coordinate with business leaders and HC stakeholders to align compensation programs with annual and mid-year audits and promotion programs by HC client sectors, as appropriate.
