Radiology Staff Nurse

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 2 years of experience in the same Field.
• Dataflow is a must.
• Saudi license holder is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Job description and responsibilities:

• Serving as a liaison between the patient and the medical team
• Preparing patients for all Types of procedures.
• Starting intravenous fluids to inject special dyes or contrast mediums into patients.
• Administering barium enemas or solutions before procedures
• Monitoring a patient's vital signs or their status during procedures to identify changes.
• Identifying unexpected reactions in patients during procedures
• Administering analgesia and sedating patients upon instruction
• Updating the medical staff on a patient's status.
• Operating radiology machines and monitoring their functions to obtain accurate results.
• Interpreting diagnostic images.
• Reassessing patients after procedures.
• Providing care and comforting patients until discharge.
• Managing a patient's discharge and managing any emergency situations during procedures.
• Reviewing the investigation or labs needed to allow the patient to start his procedure.
• Monitoring patients' oxygen saturation levels during procedures.
• Reassessing patients after their procedures are finished.
