1.Technical
advisor for all maintenance matters pertaining to aircraft maintenance, Flight
Line Support Equipment and Armament Systems.
2.
Implement the Quality Assurance Programs: Quality Management Assessments,
Quality Verification Inspections, Quality Surveillance Inspections, Functional
Check Flight, Taxi Checks, Weight and Balance and the Quality Information
System.
3.
Manage the Product Improvement Program, Quality Deficiency Analysis and
Referral Process, Engineering Assistance Request Process and the Material
Deficiency Referral.
4.
Investigate mishaps/incidents and provide comprehensive reports on root causes,
contributing factors and lasting corrective actions. Also manage the Maintenance
Impoundment and Investigation Process.
5. Direct
inspections of maintenance actions, procedures, equipment, and facilities and
provide on-the-spot assistance through assigned inspectors in correcting
identified problems.
6. Analyze
trends in aircraft malfunctions; advise production managers and recommend
corrective actions.
7.
Conduct and prepare special inspections and reports on critical equipment or
personnel matters.
8.
Oversee the Unit Configuration Management program and Time Compliance Technical
Order system.
9. Authors
Maintenance Operating Instructions (MOIs), policy letters and HQ
correspondences.
Requirements1. Must possess
7 skill level or higher.
2.
Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience and two (2) years
Quality Control experience.
3. Must
have excellent working knowledge of all Maintenance specialties and Quality
Assurance procedures.
4. Must
have at least five (5) years of experience on the F-15.
5. Have
experience in planning, scheduling, and controlling resources.
6. Must
be able to assess the effectiveness of procedural compliance.
7. Have
broad experience in managing quality efforts, training and supervision.
8. Be
proficient in the Maintenance Publications Management System and improvement
process.
9. Must
be highly experienced in using publications and computerized records management,
collection and information systems.
10.
Possess a full working knowledge and understanding of the Maintenance Data
Collection systems.
11. College degree preferred.
12. Configuration Management experience and A&P certification preferred., as well as Aircraft Weight and Balance Certification.
