Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for ad-hoc management requests. § Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.


Core Responsibilities § Develops, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products at major project worksites. § Serves as the primary quality assurance resource to department working for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement. § Reviews and approves quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance. § Devises testing plans and methods to assure reliability of product installations. § Inspects parts and supplies delivered at work sites to ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual agreements. § Develops, applies and maintains quality standards for all field operation activities. § Designs and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection. § Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions and process reengineering to ensure that operational metrics are maintained as per the globally defined standards for Otis products and services. § Develops and implements quality system, and maintains them through internal audit ensuring compliance with set processes. § Coordinates with client’s inspection teams and quality assurance teams within Otis globally to identify best practices and deploy them locally. § Designs and delivers training material on quality standards and activities. § Participates in internal and external quality audits. § Updates safety policies and procedures when required.


Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Skills


Minimum


Qualifications § Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent


Professional


Certifications § Relevant certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred


Years of Experience § Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in performing engineering operations within the vertical transportation industry


Nature of Experience § At least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities


Language Skills § Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred
