Job Purpose
This Position exists to perform product Quality Control and Quality assurance activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas
Prepare and Maintain QA/QC Procedures and Formats
- Develop, review, and update QA/QC procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Establish and maintain standardized formats for various quality management activities (e.g., inspection reports, test certificates, NCRs).
Prepare and Maintain ISO Documentation
- Corrective Action Reports (CAR): Ensure all corrective actions are properly documented and tracked until closure.
- Continual Improvement Records: Maintain records of ongoing improvements to processes, products, and services, in line with ISO standards.
External Calibration PR Creation, Sending, and Receiving Instruments
- Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) for external calibration services.
- Coordinate the sending and receiving of instruments to and from calibration vendors.
- Track and maintain records of instruments sent for external calibration.
Internal Calibration and Report Preparation
- Conduct internal calibration of measuring instruments and tools.
- Ensure proper documentation of calibration results and any discrepancies.
- Prepare internal calibration reports for auditing and traceability.
ISO Internal and External Audits
- Plan and coordinate internal and external ISO audits, ensuring readiness for review.
- Act as a liaison during audits, facilitating the audit process and addressing any non-conformities.
- Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) Preparation and Maintenance
- Develop and maintain ITPs that outline the required inspections and tests for projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Regularly update and review ITPs to ensure they remain relevant and comprehensive.
Plan for Inspection and Testing of LV Panels
- Plan and schedule inspections and testing for low-voltage (LV) panels.
- Ensure that all relevant tests and inspections are included in the ITP, and conduct them according to established procedures.
Prepare Test Reports for Inspected Panels
- Document the results of inspections and tests for LV panels.
- Prepare detailed test reports, including any deviations or corrective actions taken.
Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and Follow Up
- Identify any non-conformances during inspections, audits, or tests and raise NCRs as necessary.
- Ensure that NCRs are followed up with the relevant departments to investigate and resolve the root cause.
- Monitor the progress of corrective actions and ensure NCR closure once the issue is resolved.
Attend PIM (Project/Production/Inspection Meeting)
- Participate in PIM meetings to discuss project status, quality issues, and future inspection/testing requirements.
- Provide updates on NCRs, audits, calibration status, and any ongoing quality improvements.
Attend FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) with TPI / Customer
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies or customers.
- Document test results and address any customer or TPI concerns during the FAT.
Reply/Close Punch List Comments from TPI/Customer
- Review and respond to any punch list items or comments raised by the TPI or customer during the FAT.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken and document the closure of all punch list items.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
