QA/QC Engineer – HVAC, Firefighting (Mechanical)
1 Position Overview: The QA/QC Engineer - Mechanical ensures that Mechanical engineering works meet quality and safety standards. This role involves conducting inspections, material testing, and addressing non-conformities to maintain project integrity. ·
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and monitor Mechanical works for compliance with project specifications and standards.
2. Review construction methods, material testing procedures, and technical submittals.
3. Conduct site visits to assess the quality of workmanship and adherence to engineering designs.
4. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommendations for quality improvements.
5. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to address quality-related issues.
6. Ensure all Mechanical QA/QC processes adhere to SEC and ISO 9001 standards.
7. Participate in quality audits and provide feedback for process improvements. ·
Qualifications and Skills:
1- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers).
2- 8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in Mechanical QA/QC inspection roles.
3- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.
4- Expertise in SEC standards, construction codes, and material testing methods.
5- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Certifications: BD’s in Mechanical Engineering + ISO 9001 lead auditor (approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers).
Trainings: knowledge of international & SEC standards along with construction, maintenance and material testing procedures
Minimum Experience Required:
8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in Mechanical QA/QC inspection roles. ·
Expertise in SEC standards, construction codes, and material testing methods. ·
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
