ROLE PURPOSE
The PYP Arabic and Islamic teacher will take responsibility for developing the scope and sequence of the Arabic curriculum and Islamic curriculum, ensuring clear links and appropriate transitions between KG, PYP and MYP. He/she will also be responsible for; ensuring that subjects are integrated into the transdisciplinary and inquiry-based learning approach, reviewing assessment and reporting processes, analyzing subject specific data and tracking student progress and providing support and guidance for arts-based learning and teaching as appropriate.
He/she will endorse and practice the philosophy, pedagogy (including environment, learning, teaching and assessment) research and innovation aspects of the Arabic curriculum and will work as an active member of the NEOM school team to ensure that the day to day running and development of learning at the NEOM Community School is carried out in accordance with the aims of the NEOM Education, Research and Innovation Sector. She/he will be accountable for upholding the aims and vision of the whole school in this phase and will support the work of the school in contributing to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030.

MA/M.ED second degree or further relevant qualification
