The Opportunity
As a Health Policy Lead, you contribute to the Saudi Ecosystem Healthcare Shaping and Business Outcomes in order to reach our Long term Company Vision through a close engagement and partnership with payers and senior decision and policy makers.
The focus for this role would be to bring global policies to local levels to shape and influence implementation across Saudi through the support of affiliate teams.
Your Responsibilities
● Build a deep understanding of the health ecosystems across the country to set policy agenda priorities including the environments, institutional and political landscapes linked to the Roche Policy and Partnership strategy .
● Actively engage and build relationships with political stakeholders and key influencers of health policy agendas at Ecosystem and national levels.
● Support affiliate TA POD teams in local activities in minimizing gaps/hurdles to access in support of health system strengthening initiatives and public private partnerships.
● Develops and cultivates long-term strategic partnerships with key advocates, special interest groups and other policy stakeholders with influence.
● Works in collaboration with Global Access to drive engagement with key regional decision makers and influencers that impact country decision making on access issues, e.g. UICC, WHO, World Bank, UN, etc.
● Provides strategic counsel to Area and Affiliate leadership teams on policy trends/opportunities to guide country strategies.
● Liaises with a wider health system shaping network and fosters collaboration and identify scalable solutions between countries in the area and beyond.
● Working closely with the PA/Communications team, ensures clear enterprise health policy positions and associated messaging external and internal.
Who you are
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences, Masters Degree is a plus.
● A degree of Public health, Health Administration, Health Economics, Political Sciences or Public Policy or relevant degree is Preferred.
● ≥ 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
● Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia healthcare landscape.
● Experience in Policy environment.
● Fluent in written and spoken English & Arabic.
