Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the implementation and delivery of digital transformation projects within the banking sector. The role will involve driving innovation, integrating new technologies, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams to enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Digital Transformation Projects: Manage end-to-end delivery of digital banking initiatives, including core banking system upgrades, mobile banking apps, AI/ML implementations, and blockchain integrations.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all digital transformation projects align with the bank’s overall strategy and business objectives, contributing to growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, timeline, and resource allocation. Monitor and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project execution.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business analysts, compliance, operations, marketing) to ensure effective project delivery. Ensure clear communication and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders (executives, department heads, external vendors) to define project goals, gather requirements, and manage expectations. Provide regular updates and reports on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers. Ensure contractual agreements are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all digital transformation projects comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, KYC, AML). Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on improving customer experience through innovative digital solutions, ensuring the new technologies address customer pain points and enhance engagement.
  • Change Management: Drive organizational change by developing and executing strategies for user adoption of new systems and processes. Provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage the project budget and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints. Track and report project costs and adjust plans when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital banking and transformation. Propose new technologies and solutions to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in digital transformation within the banking or financial services sector.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering digital transformation projects (e.g., system upgrades, platform migrations, AI implementations).
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of banking operations, products, and services.
    • Familiarity with digital banking technologies (cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, mobile apps).
    • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience in risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
  • Certifications (Preferred but not required):
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications.
    • Agile or Scrum certification.
    • Banking-related certifications (e.g., Certified Banking Professional).
