Job Description









CSM Middle East became part of the Wasserman agency following an acquisition in October 2023. In the Middle East region we continue to operate as CSM for the short-term whilst we go through the necessary changes to our business licenses, and we expect to rebrand, in line with the rest of the global CSM business, in 2025.

What will you be doing


As Project Manager you will be part of one of CSM Middle East’s most prestigious projects, working with one of our most important accounts and other key stakeholders in the KSA sports marketing landscape to generate commercial revenues across the clients sponsorship programme. The role will compliment the existing project team and focuses on identifying and executing on opportunities to sell sponsorship opportunities tied to the client's events and venues, servicing confirmed partners across relevant sponsorship properties, and day-to-day client management in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


You will be working closely with the Account Director leading the project along with other project team members based both in Riyadh and Dubai.


Key responsibilities include:


Producing regular client-facing reports providing insight to project updates


Presenting said reports to the client with an ability to clearly articular new ideas and concepts


Define prospect targets suitable to approach for each sponsorship property based off audience analysis and market understanding


Produce sales materials and collateral used when selling each property


Play a leading role in engaging local and international brands (sales outreach) with an overarching objective to secure the maximum volume and value of partnerships across the client’s properties


Establish and develop relationships with key decision makers / C-suite executives from identified prospects


Liaise with core project team for all sales process and reporting requirements


Proactively input into partnership package discussions, such as identifying new assets and rights thought to add value to prospect partners


Support where needed with rights delivery and partner management for the client’s properties


The Skills & Experience you need


A network of contacts across the Middle East within marketing/ brand/ sponsorship divisions


In-depth understanding of sports partnership / sponsorship industry dynamics, across geographies, and from multiple perspectives (rights holders, brands)



Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of identifying, prospecting and closing commercial deals in the world of sports & entertainment


Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally


Team player with a strong sense of collective responsibility


Deadline-driven and achievement focused


Excellent communication, diplomacy and negotiating skills


At least 3-4 years experience within a commercial rights / project management role


Arabic and English (fluent competency, written and spoken)


Willingness to be based permanently in client offices in Riyadh


Strong presentation skills, both in creating and writing presentations for third parties and delivering event updates in person.


Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.


A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand


The role requires someone that can be effective working within large project teams cross-functionally, is comfortable working outside of company offices (self motivated), is detail oriented and enjoys working within a collaborative team environment
