NEOM Project Manager
As part of NEOM's groundbreaking regional infrastructure projects, the Project Manager a critical role in managing assets and infrastructure within the Gateway Cluster. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management, particularly in large-scale MEP projects, in logistically challenging environments.
Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of building assets within a construction team, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project objectives. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Trojena Clusters and external partners, to drive successful project outcomes within NEOM's innovative landscape.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of building assets, from concept design to handover, ensuring timely and quality completion within budget constraints.
- Provide leadership on Health, Safety, and Environment management, fostering a culture of safety throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Trojena Clusters teams and stakeholders, sharing insights and offering support to drive project success.
- Oversee the management of contractors under various procurement routes to ensure assets meet project objectives and standards.
- Lead the design and construction of MEP works with a focus on Electrical Engineering aspects, ensuring compliance with NEOM's standards and regulations.
Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in managing large-scale MEP projects from design to completion.
- Proven experience in handling projects in logistically challenging locations, preferably in the KSA or Middle East region.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards relevant to regional infrastructure projects.
- Organized, analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a proactive manner.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors effectively and identify critical design/construction decisions ahead of schedule.
Qualifications
Degree or above in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related field with over 10 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering sector. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, Arabic proficiency is a plus.
