Project Engineer

Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Engineer - Oil & Gas to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer - Oil & Gas, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects in the oil and gas industry. You shall Supervise and execute the design activities for the unconventional resources projects to ensure a safe operable and economic design within the framework of the project budget, material requirements, specifications and schedule. The candidate shall also provide professional advice and guidance regarding civil design with cost-effective solutions.

Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has construction engineering experience on large projects. Coordinates with other functional engineers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards. Plans, coordinates, and directs the construction work and Construction Subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates. Prepares the construction plan to ensure the efficiency, quality, safety, and performance of construction to meet project objectives. Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.

• Supervises and coordinates preparation of the project proposal including development and analysis of alternates.
• Ensure that designs meet Saudi Aramco standards and specifications and that alternate designs or changes are economical, operable and meet safety, maintenance and schedule requirements.
• Responsible for compliance to project controls and administration guidelines/procedures including those related to cost control and forecasting, planning and scheduling, contract administration and materials control, during project execution.
• Supervises and coordinates planning to adjust to unanticipated changes in scope, materials and equipment delivery and cost.
• Provides expert advice and assistance to the Unconventional resources, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his area of expertise
• Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potential Problems and remedies to existing problems resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.
• Evaluates and introduces best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Unconventional resources to achieve Best in Class positions.
• Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to the Unconventional Resources. Acts as the department representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his field of experience.
• Acts as a professional mentor to less senior specialists and engineers.
