We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator with a strong background in quality management to support the successful planning and execution of projects within the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors for a 16-month engagement. The ideal candidate will assist in managing quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to standards, and coordinating project activities to meet client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Support:


  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.


  • Maintain and update project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.


  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.


Documentation and Reporting:


  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including quality assurance records, reports, and meeting minutes.


  • Generate periodic quality performance reports and escalate issues as needed.


  • Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible to stakeholders.


Communication and Coordination:


  • Serve as a liaison between quality assurance teams, project stakeholders, contractors, and team members.


  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including quality-related discussions, and follow up on action items.


  • Address inquiries and concerns related to quality management promptly and effectively.


Risk Management:


  • Identify potential quality risks and work with the Project Manager to develop mitigation strategies.


  • Maintain a quality risk log and ensure timely resolution of quality-related challenges.


Training and Development:


  • Provide support in training team members and subcontractors on quality management practices and standards.


  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in quality practices.


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or relevant quality certifications is a plus.


  • 5-10 years of experience in project coordination and quality management within the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors.


  • Proven track record of supporting projects with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
