Project Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Control Engineer with min 10 years of expertise in managing and overseeing project controls for large-scale projects in various sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, tracking, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is critical for driving project success and minimizing risks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and task assignments.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
• Perform cost management tasks, including cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and client expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including performance analysis and risk assessments.
• Conduct schedule reviews, analyze critical paths, and adjust plans to avoid delays.
• Support the preparation of project documentation and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to manage project costs efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
