We are hiring a Project Accountant for an exciting Virtual Production stage build in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This unique role bridges the gap between financial management and production, serving as a key operational figure in the studio’s projects. The position will involve financial oversight, production support, and strategy, with an emphasis on building and nurturing a highly analytical, financially literate production team. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate complex internal dynamics, and a keen understanding of both creative and business priorities.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets for virtual production projects, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency throughout the lifecycle of each project.
· Daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting.
· Work closely with production teams to identify and address financial risks early in the production process, proactively offering solutions.
· Develop cost-control strategies and advise production teams on the most efficient use of resources without compromising creative outcomes.
· Oversee independent audits
· Assess insurance needs and equipment insurance
· Ad hoc financial reporting
· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive producers, project managers, finance teams, and department heads.
· Support long-term strategic planning for production teams, ensuring that financial considerations are embedded in the studio's overall business and production goals.
· Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in virtual production, understanding how these may impact financial planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
