Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 Basic knowledge of mechanical work, tools and process

 Proficient in reading technical drawings

 Hands on experience in assembly of industrial equipment including motors,

pumps and alignment of rotating equipment.

 Adheres to safe work practices

 Experience in alignment of Diesel Engine & Alternator will be an advantage

 Understanding of Torque specifications as per OEM requirements and the

tools used to implement, e.g., Torque wrench, Vernier caliper etc.)

 Must be able to understand technical English used in OEM documentation

 Troubleshooting (Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what

to do about it)

 Equipment Selection (Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed

to do a job.)

 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers and

decimals

 Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of

alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems)

 Controlling operations of equipment or systems

 Hands on experience in assembly of equipment including motors, pumps

 Alignment of rotating equipment

 Knowledge of diesel engine and its major components

 Minimum experience of 4 years experience

 Preference is for candidates who have experience of at least an year in

equipment assembling plants.
