Rewaa Technology Company is a leading provider of Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, dedicated to delivering innovative and seamless payment experiences to our clients. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development of our Point of Sale (PoS) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, execution of innovative PoS solutions tailored for the Android platform, catering primarily to retail, hospitality, and service industry needs.
We are looking for a skilled and driven Product Owner to join our team and work within our Point of Sale (PoS) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible managing the product backlog, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative PoS products that meet the needs of our customers in the retail and hospitality sectors.
The Product Owner will play a key role in translating business requirements into user stories and ensuring the development team understands the objectives and priorities.

Responsibilities



+ Own, manage, and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision and business objectives.
+ Create, refine, and maintain detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements for the development team.
+ Ensure that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by the development team and stakeholders
+ Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, providing clarity and direction.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
+ Work with the Scrum Master and development team to remove impediments and ensure that the sprint goals are met.
+ Champion a user-centred approach, ensuring the PoS solutions meet the needs of customers, retailers, and end-users.
+ Gather feedback, and work with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly experiences.
+ Validate new features and changes by conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring they meet the defined criteria.
+ Prioritise features and enhancements based on business value, customer feedback, technical feasibility.
+ Define release goals and coordinate with the development team to ensure timely delivery of features.
+ Work with PMM to maintain user documentation, and training materials to support product launches.
+ Provide product training and support for sales and support teams to ensure they can effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.

Requirements



+ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
+ Proven track record of working in agile environments, using tools like Jira or similar for managing backlogs, sprints, and development cycles.
+ Ability to work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related).
+ Fluent in Arabic.
+ Previous Retail and/or Restaurant Experience is a Plus
+ Mobile Experience is a Plus
