Product Owner - Hardware



Riyadh Product Management – Product Management / Full-Time / On-site Rewaa Technology Company is a leading provider of Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, dedicated to delivering innovative and seamless payment experiences to our clients. We're seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner with a strong background in payments to help us shape the future of our payments platform. As the Product Owner for Payments, you will be responsible for leading the development and evolution of our payments solutions. Your expertise will cover key areas within the payments ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and external partners to deliver payment products that meet market demands and provide outstanding customer value.

Responsibilities



+ Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product roadmap for Hardware related features, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and customer needs.
+ Hardware Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the hardware POS or experience with development of any hardware device where was included active participation in following stages of development (Sourcing, ODM/OEM related activities, Packaging)
+ Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to gather requirements, define clear requirements for sourcing and ODM/OEM purposes, and prioritize features to ensure successful product delivery.
+ Market Research: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings to ensure our solutions remain cutting edge.
+ Negotiation skills: Establish and maintain relationships with our suppliers and being able to progressively negotiate terms in sense of pricing terms and execution.
+ Standards and Compliance: Ensure products comply with needed standards IEC, RoHS, CoC, CE.

Requirements



+ Minimum 3 years' experience in the hardware industry, preferably within the POS industry.
+ Proven track record of working with international suppliers and understanding different cultures' work dynamics.
+ Ability to work closely with suppliers' engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related).
+ Solid understanding of standards and regulations (IEC, CoC, RoHS, CE)
+ Previous Retail and/or Restaurant Experience is a Plus
+ Standards and Sourcing: Proven track record of working with international suppliers and managing ODM and supplying activities.
+ Technical Understanding: Ability to work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
+ Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate complex payment concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related).
