Role Overview:
• The Pre-sales Team Leader will lead and grow the Telecom sector portfolio by driving technical innovation, delivering customized solutions, and supporting the Pre-sales strategy. Working closely with sales teams, technical teams, project managers, and vendors, the leader will ensure the development and delivery of cutting-edge Telecom solutions while maintaining profitability, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment.

Sales & Development of EBS LOB Offering / Solution:
• Develop and promote Telecom-specific solutions aligned with market demands, leveraging technologies such as 5G, IoT, AI/ML, edge computing, and cloud networking.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client challenges in network optimization, connectivity, and digital transformation, crafting proposals that address specific Telecom use cases.
• Promote Network Modernization Solutions: Help Telecom operators upgrade legacy networks to modern, software-defined architectures, ensuring readiness for 5G rollouts, virtualization, and disaggregated networks.
• Create specialized B2B and B2C offerings for Telecom operators, including managed services for enterprises, private LTE/5G networks, and consumer-focused content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Co-develop digital transformation roadmaps for clients, including adoption of AI-powered network automation, predictive maintenance, and customer analytics platforms.
• Build partnerships with key technology providers, including Radio Access Network (RAN) vendors, OSS/BSS platform providers, cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and hardware/software vendors for network function virtualization (NFV).
• Evaluate and partner with key vendors in the Telecom ecosystem, ensuring access to best-in-class solutions and platforms.• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends in Telecom and their potential impact on Giza Systems’ offerings.
• Promote Giza Systems’ image and culture internally & externally.
• Work with the pre-sales manager to determine the appropriate supplier and offerings as per the strategy of the EBS LoB.
• Review market trends and technological advances to determine impact on the EBS LoB’s offering.
• Work with the Technical team to design highly technical solutions and identify the potential supplier(s) for the provided solution(s).
Delivery of EBS LOB Solution:
• Develop technical documents and review the technical components of the proposals ensuring the efficient integration of all configured solutions, before submission to the sales team for final compilation.
• Assign their team including themselves to their opportunities while providing guidance and support when needed.
• Coordinate with sales and project managers to address client requirements, including technical workshops and customer presentations. This will include client visits and presentation of solutions.
• Ensure the review of the technical aspect of the Project implementation plan prepared by the Project Managers ensuring it is achievable and within the set time frame.
Process Improvement:
• Develop and maintain a Telecom-focused knowledge repository to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Train sales teams on the latest advancements in Telecom technologies, enabling them to identify and qualify leads more effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gain insights into industry challenges, leveraging them to enhance Telecom offerings and improve proposal accuracy.
People Management:
• Ensure proper knowledge preservation and management of both the presales team and the organization.
• Coordinate continuous products/offering awareness campaigns across the organization.
• Develop the presales team to be ready to act as a consultant/advisor to the client on the complex technical issues and conduct presentations.
• Train new members and identify and encourage areas for growth and development within the team
• Be Pro-active in maintaining and increasing the team’s and their own technical knowledge
• Identify training needs or requirements for themselves individually and for the team
• Work on enhancing communication between teams.
• Identify training needs for team members in key Telecom areas, including RAN, spectrum management, network slicing, and NFV/SDN technologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving the team to adopt innovative tools and methodologies.
