Job Description

As the PR and Communications Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance the company's brand image, increase market presence, and drive customer engagement. We're looking for a creative and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects and collaborate with various teams.


What you will do


  • Help create, develop and then implement cut-through PR strategies across earned, owned and paid channels, which will  promote all events within the portfolio.
  • Write, edit, seek business approval and then distribute press releases and by-lined press articles for top tier media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients’ press office teams, journalists, influencers and Government officials.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on earned PR activities.
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, and press conferences.
  • Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance and provide insights for future strategies.

Qualifications

We're looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual with a passion for PR and great connections, who can effectively manage projects from initiation to completion. 


What you will bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 18 months to 2.5 years + experience working in an in-house press team or agency or corporate communications role
  • Proven experience in PR and communications, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
  • Willing to build relationships and manage media   
  • Critical thinker, able to analyse media coverage with an eye for detail    

Great to have


  • Experience in writing and editing press releases
  • Experience managing brand reputation and crisis communications 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Airtable
