We are hiring a proactive and strategic PR and Media Executive on behalf of our client, a prominent company in the KSA. In this role, the selected candidate will play a key part in enhancing the firm’s visibility through strategic PR counsel, media planning, and executive profiling. This role involves developing external communications, managing media relations, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. Ideal candidates should have strong media relationships, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic PR Counsel and Planning:


  • Provide strategic counsel and planning for media engagement to maximize visibility for executives.
  • Develop and execute PR plans that align with business goals, ensuring key activities are fully optimized.

Executive Visibility:


  • Enhance executive visibility through media interviews, speaking engagements, and thought leadership.
  • Prepare speeches, talking points, and briefing materials for executive media appearances.

Content Development:


  • Create external communications such as press releases, bylined articles, and speeches that reflect the company’s priorities.
  • Regularly update messaging to ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Translate materials between English and Arabic as needed.

Media Relations:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KSA and regional media outlets, ensuring strategic and positive coverage.
  • Distribute press releases, follow up with media, and manage media inquiries professionally.

Event Management:


  • Prepare for media events including press conferences and interviews, creating materials like fact sheets and executive bios.
  • Provide media training and support to executives.

Social Media Integration:


  • Share PR information with the social media team for consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align PR and digital strategies.

Reporting and Evaluation:


  • Create quarterly and full-year coverage analysis reports to evaluate PR activities.
  • Provide insights to improve media and communications strategies.
  • Conduct research and advise on CSR projects aligned with company values.

Crisis Communications and Issue Management:


  • Support issue and crisis management communications to safeguard the company’s reputation.
  • Develop crisis communication strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or communications with a focus on strategy and media engagement.
  • Proven experience preparing executives for media interviews and organizing media events.
  • Strong knowledge of the KSA and GCC media landscape, with established media relationships.
  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with a strong ability to craft compelling external communications.
  • Robust media relationships and a proven track record in securing positive coverage.
  • Experience in PR strategy execution aligned with business objectives.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and integrating PR with digital strategies.
