PIPELINE ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer to join our PMC team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the engineering phase of a major oil and gas project. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in pipeline engineering and design within a PMC environment, focusing on project delivery excellence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the pipeline engineering activities for the project, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
• Develop detailed pipeline designs, technical specifications, and material requisitions for onshore/offshore pipelines.
• Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and route optimization for pipelines.
• Review and approve design deliverables, including P&IDs, layouts, and isometric drawings.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards, as well as project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, etc.) to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support during FEED, Detailed Engineering, and procurement phases.
• Conduct technical assessments, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and risk evaluations related to pipeline systems.
• Support client meetings, project reporting, and interface management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in pipeline engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated experience working on PMC projects.
• Strong background in the engineering phase, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Proficient in pipeline design tools and engineering software.
• In-depth knowledge of international codes (e.g., ASME, API, DNV).
• Willing to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
