Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Ensure accurate detection and characterization of defects in welded joints, pipelines, pressure vessels, and other components.
Interpret, evaluate, and document test results and provide comprehensive reports to clients and management.
Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration and functionality compliance as per regulatory standards.
Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute inspection schedules efficiently.
Adhere to all safety and quality protocols to ensure compliance with workplace and environmental regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to testing equipment or techniques during field operations.
Essential Qualifications:
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related fields is preferred.
Certification:
ASNT Level 2 or
BCN Level 2 certification in PAUT/TOFD.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PAUT/TOFD inspection.
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).
