You will play a key role in driving sales and profitability within the parts department while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. What You Will Do:
Customer Interaction: Attend to customers at the parts sales counter, providing them with accurate and timely parts support for all the brands represented by the company.
Parts Identification: Receive customer inquiries and identify the correct part numbers using parts catalogues, ensuring accuracy and meeting customer needs.
Quality Control: Ensure that all parts sold are in serviceable condition and suitable for their intended use, thereby minimizing returns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Order and Back-Order Management: Follow up on back-orders, providing customers with updates and ensuring on-time delivery.
Sales Order Processing: Process quotations, sales orders, returns, warranties, and customer discounts in line with company policies and standard operating procedures.
P&L and Business Development: Understand and actively contribute to the department’s profit and loss (P&L), working to increase parts sales and maximize profitability.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain direct communication with key customer accounts and work closely with the Aftermarket Sales Executive to ensure consistent follow-ups and strong relationships.

Customer Service Excellence: Ability to provide outstanding service and address customer needs effectively, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, handle customer inquiries, and ensure the accuracy of orders and returns.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for resolving discrepancies in parts orders and returns, ensuring customers receive the right parts.
Adaptability: Ability to work with a wide range of customers across diverse industries, adapting your approach based on their specific needs and requirements.
Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with the parts team, Aftermarket Sales Executive, and other departments.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using parts catalogues and sales software, and proficient in basic computer applications.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and handle various customer demands as they arise.

Higher Diploma in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
Previous experience in parts sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both customers and internal teams.
Proactive and adaptable approach to customer service, with a focus on going the extra mile while maintaining company policies.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under pressure.
Proficiency in using parts catalogues and computer systems, with a keen eye for detail.
