Packer

• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products using marking tools.
• Gather the packaging material for the concerned batch to be packed.
• Label CFB box, check it online followed by blister checking before sending it to next stage along with checking the printing quality.
• Clean and prepare containers for on-line packing.
• Measure, weigh, and count final packing / materials as per the need.
• Receive the area line clearance & bring packaging material inside the area as per approved SOP.
• Check to ensure semi-finished/finished packs are damage free.
• Remove defective packs, blisters, filled labelled bottles during on-line or manual packaging.
• Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Verify if items pulled out of package are correct.
• Put status label on equipment & concerned area.
• Observe packaging equipment to make sure that each drug is being packed in the correct packing along with associated literature.
• Prepare final packing & affix label on it along with the batch number as per approved procedure.
• Check packaged drugs to make sure that they are boxed, labeled and categorized properly.
• Clean & maintain the area and equipment in accordance with the respective SOP and cGMP.
• Report any incidence of non-conformance to supervisor immediately.
• Perform all activities in compliance with cGMP guidelines.  
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Ensure confidentiality of all documents and information related to work.
