ROLE OVERVIEW
The Organizational Design Manager is responsible for supporting the Organization Design function in the design and implementation of efficient organizational structures at NEOM, incorporating zero-based workforce planning to align staffing with strategic goals.
This role involves proposing structural changes for enhanced efficiency, supporting business needs, ensuring clarity in roles, reporting, and workflows, and developing performance management practices that foster a performance-driven culture.
ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
The Organization Design Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Organization Design
- Strategic Leadership in Organizational Structure Development: Spearhead the creation and execution of an organizational structure meticulously aligned with NEOM’s strategic goals to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Zero-based Workforce Planning: Implement zero-based workforce planning strategies to ensure staffing levels precisely mirror both immediate needs and projected growth, thereby eliminating redundancies and maximizing resource utilization.
- Dynamic Organizational Adaptation: Strategically propose and execute modifications to the organizational structure to heighten operational efficiency and swiftly respond to changing business requirements.
- Optimization of Operational Roles: Guarantee the meticulous definition and dissemination of job roles and descriptions, along with reporting hierarchies and workflow management, to enhance overall operational fluency.
- Job Description and Evaluation Expertise: Expertly craft and assess job descriptions to align with organizational needs and performance standards.
Performance Management
- Cultivating High Performance: Develop and manage the deployment of a comprehensive performance management system that fosters an organizational culture characterized by high achievement and continuous improvement.
- Recognition and Reward Systems: Ensure the performance management framework robustly recognizes and incentivizes employee contributions, aligning rewards with performance outcomes.
- Performance Enhancement Consulting: Offer authoritative advice and support to HR and business leaders on strategies to address underperformance and boost employee productivity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Organization Design.
- Proven experience in organizational design, performance management, or a related field, preferably in a consulting or corporate setting.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on organizational efficiencies, workforce planning, and employee performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to manage complex projects and drive significant changes.
- Influential leadership skills and the capacity to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or relevant.
- CIPD or SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP, CEBS Certification are a plus.
