Key Responsibilities:


  • Working with to develop, implement, and maintain both commercial and operational management procedures


  • Ensuring that Program / Project Directors follow appropriate project management standards and practices, in accordance with company policies and procedures.


  • Ensuring Program Directors, Project Managers and BU leaders remain up to date in project invoicing to the client.


  • Ensuring that Program Directors, Project Managers and BU leaders remain up to date in both client and internal project reporting.


  • Ensuring full implementation of corporate and QA/QC standards are adhered to.


  • Monitoring Program and project performance indicators and produce regular project performance metrics reports for management review.


  • Working with Program Directors, project managers and BU leaders identify and pro-actively resolve internal and external [out-of-scope work requests, variation opportunities, etc.] project performance issues.


  • Organising regular project review meetings for all active projects.


  • Improving the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of PA development strategy; specifically, in support of management reporting, information flow and management, business process, general project and financial management and organizational planning.


  • Attending and organising regular meetings with the PA Operations Director, Financial Officer and finance team around fiscal planning.


  • Working with PgM leadership team to provide accurate budgets and forecasting.


  • Organising and overseeing PgM invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.


  • Developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring all project performance procedures


  • Overseeing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable, producing reports as requested by the PgM / PA leadership


  • Monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labour. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.


  • Identify and assess key risks for projects.


  • Ensure staff are mapped correctly across the PM Business Line


  • Monitor and ensure staff complete required training


  • Keep the sales / opportunities pipeline updated on a regular basis


  • Monitor and ensure staff timesheets accurately submitted


  • Maintain controls on who books to VL0040 overhead booking codes


  • Ensure support to maintain 95% utilisation of all KSA PgM team members


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Qualifications required - BSc, MSc, MBA, RICS, CIOB


  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience working in a project environment


  • Experience with managing businesses in a senior leadership role


  • Strong leadership qualities, and good people skills are essential in communicating directly with senior staff, clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities and other internal staff.Why choose AtkinsRéalis
