You’ll be responsible for:
Supports the development of business health, safety and wellbeing strategy and delivery plans.
Provides leadership to drive forward health, safety and wellbeing services for the Mace workforce, instigating and leading necessary clinical and operational improvements to ensure an optimal state for health, safety and wellbeing services.
Provides expert guidance and strategic leadership regarding health surveillance programme which meets with legislative requirements.
Leads and supports the health, safety and wellbeing team in the delivery health, safety and wellbeing business standards and governance activities, ensuring continual improvement and standards of excellence are maintained.
Leads in the development of any customer relationships for which the team is responsible.
Works with individual business unit senior leadership teams to ensure health standards are embedded into practice, utilising HS&W data, trends and wider industry intelligence.
Supports and influences the senior leadership teams within the wider Mace business and supply chain, alongside key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of business strategy.
Leads, mentors and supports health, safety and wellbeing team members and wider Mace business, providing advanced advice and guidance in line with business standards.
Leads health, safety and wellbeing training needs, reviewing and implementing change at strategic level for the wider team to deliver/influence at operational level.
Provides leadership and expert guidance to the wider HSW leadership team, working collaboratively to ensure a strategic plan that delivers excellence.
Ensures significant organisational risks to health, safety and wellbeing are consistently identified and appropriately communicated, and that programmes are put in place to effectively manage people-related risks.
Monitors and drives compliance with policies, standards and metrics that will generate data driven insights and opportunities for benchmarking to support the continuous improvement of OH and wellbeing initiatives across the engines and group and commercial services.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification.
Excellent communications skills.
A hunger for learning and ambition to grow.
Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
