About the job Odoo Project Manager

The Odoo Project Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for leading and managing Odoo ERP implementation projects within our automobile manufacturing division. The role involves overseeing project timelines, coordinating between various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful deployment and integration of Odoo modules tailored to our specific business needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the automobile sector, and proven experience in ERP project management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Odoo ERP Implementation Projects: Manage end-to-end Odoo implementation projects, from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Manage Project Timelines, Resources, and Budgets: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate Between Clients, Developers, and Consultants: Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, Odoo developers, consultants, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure Successful Deployment and Integration of Odoo Modules: Oversee the customization, configuration, and integration of Odoo modules related to inventory, manufacturing, procurement, and quality control, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the automobile manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct User Training and Support: Organize and lead training sessions for end-users, providing ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the Odoo system.
  • Monitor Project Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare Documentation: Create comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, user manuals, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and Odoo system performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the automobile manufacturing sector, specifically in Odoo ERP implementation.
  • ERP Expertise: Strong understanding of Odoo modules (MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Quality) and their application in manufacturing environments.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, particularly in the automobile industry, including production planning, inventory control, quality management, and supply chain processes.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing multiple projects, with a focus on meeting deadlines, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo customization is an advantage.
