Job Title:


NE Sales Director – KSA


The role holder is responsible for managing the new equipment sales operations for Otis - Saudi including the development of local sales plans, account management of key client portfolios and coordinating the preparation of new equipment sales proposals. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.


  • Develops and implements strategic plans for Sales Department in line with the organizational objectives.
  • Reviews the financial performance of the Sales Department against budgets to identify and capitalize on potential areas for cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Monitors the deployment of work processes in own Sales Department in order to achieve high performance standards, continuous improvement and compliance with organizational policies, procedures and standards.
  • Participates in the development of the workforce plan for the Sales Department by providing inputs based on workload analysis and forecasting trends.
  • Participates in the implementation of Otis's vision, mission and cultural values across all employee groups in the Sales Department.
  • Manages the implementation of approved Sales Department policies, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services.
  • Drives the effective implementation of the new equipment sales strategy for Otis – Saudi based on market intelligence to drive portfolio growth.
  • Participates in the cascade of the new equipment sales plans (e.g. by branch, products, etc.) in coordination with the General Manager of the Saudi to ensure the Otis – Saudi targets are achieved.
  • Assesses Otis – Saudi performance against annual sales plans to ensure the new equipment sales targets are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Leads submissions of new equipment sales proposals to clients (developers, contractors etc.) and participates in the sales contracts negotiation in alignment with Otis – Saudi’s policies and procedures.
  • Manages the implementation of the required infrastructure and process changes for delivering highly efficient new equipment sales operations across Otis – Saudi (E-Log, Hey Otis).
  • Implements cross and up-selling strategies on all new equipment sales pitches, to expand the scope of engagement with clients and further entrench accounts with Otis – Saudi.
  • Maintains ongoing relations with key clients and developers in Saudi to favorably position Otis – Saudi for all contracts.
  • Identifies and highlights operational and performance problems in the entities/branches and provides support on mitigation activities.
  • Reviews the monthly sales performance reports from all branches and publishes a monthly report to General Manager - Saudi.
  • Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the Sales Department and provides mentoring for high potential talent in the team.
  • Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the department.
  • Develops talent within the department by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals.
