Educational Background: Bachelor or Diploma

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible to create content through videography and photography that can support our social media channels and brand platforms. He will work under the supervision of the Brand Manager and senior Videographer to create, edit and produce quality moving and static visuals for the brand.

Multimedia Specialist Responsibilities: 

• Filming video on set and on location
• Planning video shoots 
• Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
• Editing footage after recording
• Adding computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage
• Preparing background films (‘B’ rolls)
• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which my include selecting music and recording voice-overs
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
• Working closely with senior Videographer and Brand Manager to present a final product that matches the brand’s vision
• Calibrating and maintain equipment
• Doing small repairs on broken equipment
• Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
• Editing photos
• Managing photography sessions
• Creating suitable content for social media reels 
• Coverage of corporate events

Multimedia Specialist Qualifications:

• Full understanding of at least one of the following computer software used for editing (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro)
• Full understanding of at least one of the following computer software used for editing (Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, or similar photo editing software)
• Knowledge in (Adobe After Effects)
• Ability to direct and communicate the crew members in both (English & Arabic)
• Ability to take and follow direction
• Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
• Knowledge of post-production techniques
• Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods
• Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
