Material Planner

Accountabilities:

• Review GPS plan, master production schedules and work orders.
• Responsible for accurate, timely and economical inventory considering stock levels and inventory policies, in order to achieve a feasible medium term production plan
• Maintain the day’s inventory outstanding (DIO) at business target level.
• Review weekly purchase order releases to suppliers.
• Place an order according to the approved and adjusted materials plan.
• Follow-up on the supplier for the placed materials orders.
• Follow-up with custom clearance team on shipments status.
• Escalate to procurement any delay/ issues with suppliers whenever needed.
• Work jointly with procurement to develop a reliable and efficient suppliers base.
• Answer any shortages and track daily requirements and weekly shipments.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data (lead-time, safety stock level, etc.)
• Monitor vendor shipment schedules for on-time delivery
• Use company equipment/ resources properly and safely and adhere to safety regulations.
• Actively seek opportunities for improvements in the supply chain.
• Perform special assignments as delegated.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications:

• Dairy /FMCG experience
• 2-3 years’ experience in a related industry
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain or Similar business field.
