Maritime Operations Manager

The Maritime Operations Manager at Durrah Advanced Development Co. for overseeing and managing the efficient transportation of goods via sea routes. This role involves coordinating with shipping companies, port authorities, customs officials, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of cargo. The Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, managing documentation, and optimizing logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, and customs officials to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
• Prepare, review, and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, including SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate logistics activities with relevant stakeholders, including port authorities, shipping companies, and internal teams.
• Monitor and analyze maritime operational performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Address any maritime-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions in operations.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports for management review.
