POSITION SUMMARY:

Leading the work with Marketers, Manufacturing, Technical Marketing, Finance & T&I through different processes to make sure business continuity.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximize JV revenue by evaluating the product portfolio based on the heights
• Contribution margin.
• Represent the JV to confirm the monthly sales prices, rebate contract and the

deductible cost.

• Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports of the business.
• Support and contribute to the development of short-term and long-term business

planning.

• Conduct modelling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, business case

development, and other financial and operational analysis (e.g., operational

effectiveness, budget, resource and capacity utilization, competitor.

• Analyze economic impact of different grade portfolio and assess the effect of
• Marketers activities.

• Analyze economic impact of the sales netback and assess the effect of sales activities

in different regions.

• Drive strategic initiatives focused on reducing the costs elements to ensure effective

and efficient operations Liaise with the Finance Business Partner to ensure that financial performance is measured and acted upon: provide inputs for regular management reporting, review results of actual vs previous year vs budget performance.

• Evaluating the production processes and complexity and coordinate with manufacturing plants to identify and formulate cost improvement projects while not compromising on quality.

• Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead cost improvement projects and other initiatives at plants to ensure that the plant’s P&L will meet financial goals and targets.

• Evaluating various business cases for introduction of new products / grades, market

penetration and opportunity, Ensure monitoring and updating the economic models in a regular basis, checking profitability indicators to ensure that targets will be achieved as profitably as possible.

• Ensure monitoring the off-takers performance with respect to the netback / CM and

swing volume allocated based on the marketing agreement.

• Ensure compliance of off-taker to marketing off take agreements and implement

actions for marketer performance improvements.

• Ensure that all off-taker having the tools and strategy in place to avoid any business

risk such as anti-dumping.

• Ensure that off-taker meet the Minimum acceptable netback.

• Collaborate with external sources to ensure that pricing and marketing intelligence on

polymers products is gathered to make informed pricing decisions while accounting

for regional variations.

• Develop the products Segmentation strategy.

• Enhance the JV capability in the market competition by Products Portfolio
• management and tracking any related initiatives or project.

• Represents TASNEE at regional and international exhibitions, seminars and academic

conferences to ensure cooperation with local and international petrochemical companies in meeting strategic objectives.

Guide monthly production plan (S&OP) to ensure that the highest contribution margin

and minimum production volume will be achieved by utilizing supporting economics

models.

Supervision and Evaluation

▪ Provide support for setting the optimal annual business plan for SBU Polymers.

▪ Ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of

the department, setting departmental and individual objectives, managing

performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal

feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and departmental.

▪ Contributes to SBU functions to ensure all requirements are fulfilled as planned in

order to optimize the outputs & meeting business targets.

Evaluates the customer feedbacks on a routine basis to ensure the product is served well.

Provide input to yearly business plan for SBU petrochemicals Reporting and product literature, Coordinates with Technology & Innovation to develop the products and other related literature to maximize the product contribution margins.

Coordinates with Technology & Innovation to develop product manuals and other related literature to ensure marketers team have relevant products’ technical information.

Develop and present the Supply and demand accuracy report.

Provide the netback and sales volume performancereport.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the petrochemical/Chemical sectors with exposure to several Polymer products and minimum five years in polymer/chemical business.

• Experience leading market, business, economic department
