The Manager of Projects will oversee the management of infrastructure and building projects under the PMC framework, ensuring that project objectives are achieved within scope, time, and budget. The role requires effective leadership, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the consultancy environment in Saudi Arabia.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the execution of PMC projects, ensuring compliance with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate and lead a team of project managers and other professionals in delivering large-scale infrastructure and building projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and the VP - PMC, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Implement project management best practices, ensuring all PMC operations align with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, are effectively engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and performance tracking systems.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts, anticipate potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the project management team.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal departments to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing PMC projects, with a strong focus on infrastructure and building projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, construction processes, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • High proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
  • Ability to foster strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with multinational consultancy firms in Saudi Arabia is preferred
  • Familiarity with Saudi market trends and key players in the infrastructure and building sectors is preferred.
