General Responsibilities


The Implementation & Applications Manager, has the responsibility to take the lead with newly awarded Projects and onboarding into the Control Tower operational process, system and reporting offering.


The role also supports the process and system improvements to the overall Control Tower product and the related interactions, integrations and reporting solutions with all internal and external stakeholders.


Key activities:


  • Implement of project and the related PO Management, Visibility, Tracking, Reporting
  • Lead and guide the implementation and reporting team members and project teams
  • Support and adhere to standardized implementation methodology that has been agreed to.
  • Internal projects, system and process improvements
  • Control Tower System Setup support
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Report development (PBI and other)

Detailed Responsibilities


  1. Lead and coordinate awarded Project implementations according to standard Implementation guidelines.
  2. Manage team resources (Direct and Indirect) with project requirements for project onboarding.
  3. Coordinate and support all product with customer implementations that affect other business units.
  4. Facilitate and support SOP reviews and updated of process at agreed intervals with related stakeholders teams
  5. Lead and coordinate Quality project to ensure outdated process and WI/SOPs are completed and aligned to latest business requirements
  6. Lead and coordinate projects related to data collection and integration for operational abd reporting requirements.
  7. Coordinate support from System and Business Processes on all Control Tower tools.
  8. Control Tower System Setup and Application Support
  9. Maintain SharePoint site, team IOP’s and required support forms.
  10. Support all on-line connectivity with DSV systems related to Control Tower , including internal and customer training.
  11. Reporting at agreed set intervals on pending and completed Implementations and related costs
  12. Support new and current process and data analysis for continuous improvements initiatives.
  13. Support reporting development initiatives and report building

Communications


  • Internal: Operations, Commercial, Key Account, Management, Overseas colleagues
  • External: Customer, Customers suppliers and partners.

Job Requirements


Education & Working Experience


  • Relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferably with 3 to 5 years International Freight or Customer Service experience
  • Experience working with groups of People is an advantage

Skills & Knowledge


Professional Knowledge:


  • Strong industry knowledge and Supply Chain understanding
  • Deep understanding of transport customer requirements

Software Skills:


  • Good command of Microsoft office programs
  • Other ERP, order management, PBI  and related systems would be an advantage.

Language Skills:


  • Good command of written and spoken English
