Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To verse the security of the bank’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves developing and implementing cloud security strategies, managing security risks, and leading a team of cybersecurity professionals to safeguard the bank’s cloud environments.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and implement the bank’s cloud security strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Align cloud security initiatives with overall cybersecurity and business strategies.
• Establish and maintain a cloud security framework and roadmap.
• Identify and prioritize cloud security projects and initiatives.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the cloud security strategy.
• Communicate the cloud security strategy to stakeholders and ensure their buy-in
• Conduct security reviews of new software and applications identified for use
• Ensure organization cloud environments comply with industry security standards
• Develop and enforce secure designs for technology teams to consume cloud services.
• Build solutions to identify existing organizational data within cloud environments.
• Collaborate with the security and compliance team to develop cloud security architecture
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Experience:
• 5 – 8 years of experience
Job-Specific Skills:
• Ability to understand the cybersecurity roles & responsibilities
• Manage Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance on Bank Group Level.
• Cybersecurity Management experience (Frameworks, Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines)
• Understanding of cybersecurity Architecture
• Experience in Projects and Programs Management
• Ability to Manage GRC Automation and Technical Compliance.
• Ability to deal with pressure, resource management and team leading
• Ability to understand the requirement and deliver the related job responsibilities on time
• Significant knowledge of information technology processes and controls and an understanding of risk and quality control and assurance functions
• Significant analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with Information Technology and Business personnel to design and assist in the execution of appropriate controls design and monitoring
• Ability to influence Information technology leaders in the effective review and management of cybersecurity controls to mitigate risk.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling candidate to prepare and present recommendations to senior management
