Manager - Clinical Psychologist
Job Description
The Clinical Psychologist will provide high-quality psychological services to clients through both telehealth and in-person settings. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of mental health issues. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Assessment and Diagnosis
Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnose mental health conditions Utilize standardized assessment tools, interviews, and observations to gather relevant client information Develop professional psychological and neuropsychological assessments to clients with cognitive and organic disorders using recognized and standardized psychometric techniques. Conduct risk assessment and risk management with individual clients and provide professional advice to psychologists on psychological aspects
Treatment Planning and Implementation
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and utilize evidence-based interventions Provide a variety of psychological and behavioral therapies; design, development and implement formal psychological plan treatment/management including specialized psychological interventions. Evaluate and provide treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and factors concerning historical and developmental shaping Exercise professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients with problems that are managed by psychologically based standard care plans Provide individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches tailored to client needs
Mental health awareness
Provide support and guidance to individuals expereincing mental health challenges Raise awareness about mental halth issues within the community Participate with mental health awareness sessions as needed Coordinate and facilitate access to mental health services and resources Develop and implant educational programs about mental health Collaborate with mental health professionals and organizations
Crisis Intervention
Assess and manage clients in crisis situations effectively Implement crisis intervention strategies and coordinate with relevant emergency services when necessary
Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and share relevant client information while adhering to confidentiality protocols Provide professional guidance, advice consultation and training to subordinate staff and other stakeholders to ensure a systematic provision of high quality clinical psychology service is in line with the standard of clinical practice, policies and procedures as well as regulating and accrediting bodies Ensure that all members of a clinical team have access to a psychologically-based framework with goal to better understand the care of clients

Maintain professional competency and adhere to ethical standards Engage in ongoing education, training, and supervision while staying updated on relevant regulations Comply with all the professional and ethical standards. Perform other job related duties
Skills
Technical and Managerial Skills: Proficient in psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience with telehealth services is highly desirable. Expected to make some operational decisions and to provide guidance, advice to support staff on work related matters Expected to use critical-thinking skills to reach objective conclusions Expected to deal with complex problems and unique psychological needs of the clients (behavior, emotion, etc.) Proficient of interpersonal communications, teaching, completing task and self-motivating Demonstrate respect and patience to clients and their families, colleagues, subordinates and healthcare team Perpetual interaction with relevant stakeholders Knowledge of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, 2 or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan development psychology Ability to work with wide variety of client groups Microsoft Office Suite Arabic and English Language proficiency
