Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Further education or certification in technical fields (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or automation certification) is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing plant or industrial setting (preferred).
• Experience in handling production machinery, electrical systems, and industrial equipment maintenance.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in maintaining industrial machinery and factory equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and machine manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and industrial automation.
• Skilled in using measurement tools (multimeters, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.) for technical diagnostics.

Analytical Skills:

• Ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues with machinery and equipment efficiently.
• Competence in diagnosing mechanical and electrical system problems.

Communication Skills:

• Effective communication within the team and with other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Ability to prepare clear and structured reports on maintenance and repairs.

Safety Skills:

• Knowledge of safety procedures and occupational health standards (K3) in a factory environment.
• Understanding and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safety standards.

Personal Characteristics:

• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and responsible.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring physical strength.

Work Schedule:

• Willing to work on a shift schedule and overtime as needed.
• Willing to work beyond regular hours based on factory needs.
