Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Yanbu Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) within Western Region Manufacturing.
Yanbu NGL is located on the west cost of Saudi Arabia and is responsible for providing the feedstock to petrochemical industry like Ethane, Propane, Butane and Natural Gas.
Your primary role will be to provide maintenance engineering expertise & support to stationary and rotating equipment assets with full implementation across various maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Perform field troubleshooting on a daily basis.
- Develop and coordinate maintenance programs, procedures and systems across maintenance activities, ensuring their effectiveness and continuous improvements.
- Participate in major Turnaround & Inspection (T&Is) and emergency plant shutdowns, focusing on planning, scheduling, quality assurance and execution.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams by developing repair procedures and monitoring on-going repairs.
- Lead or participate in scope development, development of contract strategy, technical bid evaluations and procurements to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
- Review and approve repair procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and review design packages for small projects, covering scope of work, assembly/erection procedures, welding procedures, NDT requirements, material selection and technical drawings.
- Lead the planning, procurement and execution of expense projects to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
- Analyze and review maintenance-related quotations and provide recommendations as needed.
- Issue technical recommendations to enhance the deployment and performance of Asset Integrity Programs.
- Develop scope of work for contracts procurement including materials, manpower and equipment required.
Minimum Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- You should have a minimum of 12 years’ experience within refining or petrochemical facilities.
- You must be able to demonstrate extensive technical expertise in the development, implementation, and optimization of maintenance programs and activities.
- You must have extensive experience within an oil and gas maintenance organization.
- Expertise in the following areas is required:
- Reliability-Centered Maintenance - implementing systematic methodologies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Risked Based Maintenance - applying risk assessment techniques to optimize maintenance strategies.
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance - utilizing data-driven approaches to minimize unplanned downtime and improve asset healthiness.
- Spare parts and materials procurement strategies - developing and executing effective procurement plans to ensure the availability of critical spare parts and materials
- Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and work prioritization - ensuring efficient resources allocation and execution of maintenance tasks.
- Maintenance budgeting and cost control - developing and managing maintenance budgets to optimize spending while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Field maintenance practices - executing on-site maintenances activities in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
