• Responsible for the design assurance of low voltage systems for all design stages (30%, 60%, 90%) for projects designed ‘in-house’ in accordance with approved design guidelines and standards.
• Provide test assurance for low voltage installations.
• Coordinate and interface design activities (drawings and specifications) with other design disciplines as part of an integrated design team.
• Responsible for implementing and managing the value engineering process.
• Identify and support the implementation of potential cost / time optimization opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Manage the design-based activities for the discipline ‘outsourced’ design packages, including design reviews and technical approvals as required whilst ensuring adherence to regulations and design guidelines.
• Work collaboratively as part of the integrated project delivery team and reports into the project manager for activities that relate to the objectives of a project.
Ensure that engineering and design learnings are shared and implemented across all projects.
