The primary purpose of this role is to assist in managing the operation of the road department efficiently.
Reporting Line:
Report to: General Manager, Road Freight
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative practices in terms of providing support for Fleet and Operations.
Coordinating vendor and service RFQ’s process, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly addressed and documented thus maximizing cost efficiencies.
Preparing and coordinating LPO’s in accordance with company guidelines to ensure expenditure is maintained within budget.
Actively maintaining all operating systems (CW 1 /JOBS/Micro Transport) to ensure information is accurate and the timeliness of data is completed within process timeframes.
Maintain the traffic management module in Micro Transport, provide timely customer reporting.
Report dangerous driving behaviour from reports.
Assist with managing stock and coordinating the installation of tracking devices.
Suggest cost savings where possible.
Coordinating the monthly asset internal billing process with internal departments to ensure that it is accurate and completed within process timeframe.
Managing information to ensure data entry is accurate and timely; report generation is concise, accurate, pertinent and timely in accordance with activity schedules or agreed time frames; system files are maintained and updated
Preparing and overseeing all HR processes to ensure absenteeism and overtime are administered proficiently.
Overseeing QA/QC of SLA’s/SOP’s to ensure operational signoff and operational conformance of all legislative and regulatory requirements is achieved.
Compiling with all operational procedures and practices which may be required, maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork, shared goals and values, motivation, and staff development.
Maintaining professional partnering relationships with inter-department teams across all parts of the KSA / GCC operation and with industry sector affiliates.
Performing any other related duties/ projects assigned by Direct Manger from time to time to meet business exigencies.

- Communicate with system stakeholders to identify new process automation initiatives and resolve issues throughout the change request process.
- Coordinate with operational teams and system technical teams to resolve issues within the required timeframe and recommend changes to system features if necessary.
Provide coaching, training, and front-line support for system end users.
Plan and align User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users.
OSH Responsibilities
Ensure the required objectives and targets of the OSHMS are achieved
Ensure that all work under their supervision is carried out in accordance with standard OSH procedures.
Ensure that all facilities, tools and equipment used by employees are safe.
Ensure that personnel are competent with proper training before assigning of work.
Ensure proper use of protective clothing and equipment by employees.
Ensure that emergency equipment such as firefighting systems including fire extinguishers are in operating condition and trained personnel are present in all shifts
Ensure that all unsafe acts, near miss incidents and accidents are reported and proper investigation is carried out.
Ensure that follow-up actions from audits and inspections are closed out as soon as possible.
Authorities
The authority to make decisions and act on any matter of OSH management within their area of responsibility
To report any unsafe acts and unsafe condition to the OSH Staff and top Management.
Accountabilities
Accountable for their departments/functions to develop a positive OSH culture in DSV.

Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education – Bachelors or Diploma
Work Experience – 2 years experience preferred

Working Conditions:
Working conditions, hereunder hours and requirements, may be above normal office requirements.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening working hours (as needed)
