Here, the high standards, special touches, and trademark elegance of the Raffles brand are the ultimate compliment to the charm and beauty of a stay in Jeddah.Job DescriptionAssist in the creation, implementation and facilitation of the Hotel Training Plan and budget that is aligned with the hotel’s goals and strategic planConduct annual training needs analysis and coordinate with department managers to help identify training opportunities for their team membersInitiate, coordinate, deliver and follow-up on all training activities within the hotelActively initiate relationships and partnerships with industry associations, external training companies and academic counsels related to the hospitality industryUpdate and maintain accurate records of training activities and participant informationMaintain an ongoing Training Calendar to ensure learning resources and opportunities are maximizedDevelop and manage a central internal resource library of videos/books/magazines that can be utilized by all employeesShare responsibilities for the integration and orientation process of new hiresAssist with the implementation of new policies, procedures, and standardsPrepare and submit training reportsOther ResponsibilitiesBe fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesBe aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the ManagementQualificationsWe are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can display a “Passion for Perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Hotel ManagementMinimum 5 years of training/facilitation experienceExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageProficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPointStrong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and customer contact skillsResults and service oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situationsA team player & builderA motivator & self-starterWell-presented and professionally groomed at all timesAdditional InformationBeing a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture.
