Strategic focus on selected therapeutic categories has contributed to the rapid growth, market acceptance, and overall success of the company.Role Summary:An Electronics/Instrumentation Jr.Manager will ensure on time calibration of all listed measuring and monitoring equipment. Overall look after the entire operation of both in-house and third-party calibration, including planning, inclusion and exclusion of calibration instruments as per GMP requirements. Coordinates activities of Calibration with production schedule to maximize uptime. Additionally maintain operation of Constant Climate Chamber & Door Access systems. Should be able to support Utilities by troubleshooting electronics equipment of Water purification system, Boilers and HVAC & BMS equipment during breakdowns. Arrange and modify any electronic system to simplify/enhance the operation/ control capability of utilities.Responsibilities:Prepare an Annual Calibration Plan in compliance of GMP and QA requirements.Ensure implementation of calibration plan of all listed equipment with coordination of production manager minimize downtime. Manage and Monitor schedule master calibration plan and availability of master calibration equipment.Identify the need for new master equipment and arrangement of these.Responding to internal & governmental/external audit requirement and fulfilling in timely manner.Ensure smooth operation of Constant Climate Chamber by maintaining spare stock, coordination with vendor and performing preventive maintenance on time.Ensure smooth operation of Door interlocks and Door access system by maintaining spare stock, coordination with vendor and performing preventive maintenance on time.Ensure on-time calibration of all listed equipment with coordination of user to minimize stoppage.Manage and Monitor schedule calibration plan and availability of calibration equipment.Identify and arrange the need of new master equipment/ calibration of existing master calibration equipment from external sources.Monitor and update record of all calibration equipment.Identify the need for calibration equipment replacement and new equipment for any additional or existing equipment.Write and update all calibration SOP’s related to calibration equipment and master calibration equipment.Identify time-to-time alteration and enhancement required in calibration program software.Perform troubleshooting and repair in all electronic/electrical equipment of Utilities.Participate in capital expenditure projects, equipment installation, and turnover/handover, start-up, commissioning and associated training.Ensure good communication between the cross-functional team members; fosters teamwork, motivates personnel and aims towards continual improvement.Establish site-wide total Calibration program including outsourcing of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation support for day-to-day operations in a cGMP manufacturing environment for all pharma/ SG/ OSD plants.Active engagement in training needs analysis and ensuring personnel are well trained in the skills required for job performance.Assist utilities in completing IQ/ OQ of electronic and electrical equipment.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electronics /Electrical Engineering .Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing companies.Expertise in using and maintaining calibration tools such as calibration baths, reference thermometers, dead weight testers, flow calibrators, and torque calibrators.Experience working with data acquisition systems, data loggers, and software tools for recording and analyzing calibration results. Ability to diagnose calibration issues, troubleshoot measurement problems, and provide corrective actions. Must have a good knowledge of Calibration, Electronics system, Instrumentation, automation, PLCs, VFDs, Stability Chambers, door interlocking system and door Access control system. Advance knowledge of HVAC operation for manufacturing plant. Knowledge about particle counters and load cells.Knowledge of equipment qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
