1. Perform
Quality Verification Inspections (QVI) on assigned jet engines and related
equipment.
2. Provide
on-the-spot advice, assistance/training and recommend corrective actions on
technical problems of repair and maintenance of GE-129 engines.
3. Investigate
accidents/incidents and provide comprehensive reports on root causes,
contributing factors, corrective actions and recommendations.
4. Review/write
locally developed Publications, Policy Procedures and Maintenance Operating
Instructions (MOIs).
5. Research
and process Publication Deficiency Improvements.
6. Perform
Quality Deficiency Investigation and Analysis and provide solutions.
7. Review
and process Material Deficiency Reports.
8. Conduct
Special One-Time-Inspections (OTI) and Investigations.
9. Perform
First-Time compliance QVJ on all Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs).
10.
Brief and Debrief Maintenance Functional Check Flights.
1. Requires
a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in AFSC 252X0 of which two (2) years
must be at the seven (7) level.
2. Must
have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Quality Control and be totally
familiar with technical, management and quality assurance procedures.
4. Qualification
as a jet engine mechanic is mandatory with GE-129 experience preferred.
5. Be
fully knowledgeable of planning, scheduling, and controlling resources.
6. Be
proficient in the Maintenance Publications Management System and improvement
process and be familiar with Time Compliance Technical Orders.
7. Have firsthand
experience in using publications and computerized records management, collection,
and information systems.
8. Have
a working knowledge and understanding of the Maintenance Data Collection
System.
9.
Experience in directing functions such as inspection, repair, testing or
modifications of aircraft engines is mandatory.
10. Must be proficient in communications skills
necessary to write reports and conduct
on the job training.
