Eram Talent is looking for a skilled Instrumentation Control and Automation Manager to join our Client in Tabuk. Water Transmission, Storage and Distribution team. The successful candidate will be able to bring their specialist skills to manage and support the design, development, testing, commissioning, handover and maintenance of the Operational Technology infrastructure deployed on Smart Water Transmission and Distribution Networks.
· Conducting factory and site tests of control panels, MCC's and PLC/HMI software.
Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle
Understanding of HAZOP, DSEAR, CDM, WIMES, British and European Standards and other statutory, regulatory and non-regulatory provisions and guidance Meet and exceed our quality, programmer, budgetary and H&S requirements on projects
Familiar with and willing to embrace cutting-edge technologies
· Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues
· Working with and developing new automated digital design tools
· Providing defect resolution, upgrades and system maintenance management and support to Company Operations and Maintenance Teams
· Cross functional support to Company Digital Water Management and Cybersecurity sections
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience delivering complex Operational Technology intensive projects through the complete project life cycle from initial requirements and tendering through to site commissioning and handover
Experience in relation to the automation and process control of water and waste facilities, pipeline networks and the associated Operational Technology systems and IT/OT communications, including data definition and life cycle journey from field to boardroom analytics and reporting
Possesses at least 10 years’ experience preferably within the water engineering sector with familiarization of water pumping, transmission and distribution and related control, monitoring, communication and leak detection technologies and techniques particularly in smart water networks.
Computer-literate and experience in plc programming, SCADA system development, communications, cybersecurity, CCTV and physical security systems.
Ability to complete assignments on time, within budget and to a high technical standard
A well-developed understanding of the design process particularly with regards to water pumping and control and automation of valves, meters (flow and pressure), analyzers, chemical dosing equipment and loggers/sensors.
Proven ability to successfully manage projects and undertake design reviews for ICA systems
Ability to confidently engage with stakeholders and staff at all levels within the Organization
Educated to degree level with an electrical or control engineering bias; Chartered Member of the Institute of Measurement and Control or similar recognized engineering institution
