Apply now for the position of Innovation and Scientific Partnership Specialist, based in Siemens Regional Headquarters, Riyadh-KSA and will support MEA Zone

In this position, you will act as a liaison person between Siemens Healthineers and selected customers for innovation and scientific partnerships. Where you will drive cooperation and coordination regarding all tasks related to the partnership, including communication with customer and with Siemens Healthineers R&D team. Within this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Innovation and Scientific Partnership for Middle East and Africa (MEA) Zone and will support the research and innovation project development in the Zone.

Your role:

• Managing scientific collaborations at key healthcare institutions and driving joint collaborative projects that can lead to publications, grant applications
• Maintaining clinical and technical expertise - Collaborating both with R&D development teams, SHS Clinical condition team, and clinical partners for comprehensive evaluation and testing of developmental projects
• Identifying, building, and supporting strong collaborative relationships with key thought leaders
• Keeping customers & collaboration partners informed and up-to-date about the Siemens Healthineers collaboration process and engagement possibilities
• Drafting, negotiating, and executing collaboration contracts with support from internal legal, regulatory, and compliance teams
• Tracking milestones and deliverables of research projects
• Effectively communicating with Siemens Healthineers internal audiences and leadership
• Support in designing new clinical studies that can be implemented at Siemens Healthineers collaboration sites
• Content and training development for Innovation Think Tank projects in the Zone
• Organizing events and providing technical assistance in project development at customer sites.
• Scouting of new technologies and innovation trends globally with a focus on the one.

Your expertise:

• Completed studies in the field of Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and have a strong clinical and technical background in the fields of Medical Imaging and diagnostic.
• Proven track records of publications in high impact journals
• 5-8 years of experience in the similar role (industry or fellowship)
• Well verse with the new technologies and trends
• You are willing and able to travel up to 25%, including short term international trips
• You have the ability to take initiative and lead projects in multi-disciplinary groups
• You have the desire to learn, ask questions and be resourceful to identify innovative applications, develop own, creative solutions to complex problems
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Assertiveness and can-do attitude
• Experience working in a clinical and interdisciplinary environment
• Arabic and French are preferable
