Imports Supply Planning Senior Specialist (2022661)

Works effectively and efficiently Manages a portfolio of products in terms of matching supply to demand, ensuring 95%+ on-time delivery to customers, while reducing stock outs at DC's and Hubs and keeping inventory level optimized, including developing a working knowledge of vendor’s logistics and creating proper and detailed supply plans.

Accountabilities

• Develop inventory plans by utilizing current demand inputs and collaborating with demand planning, commercial partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and meets internal targets aligned with the business strategy
• In charge of producing a weekly supply plan based on the latest consensus demand plan for the full assigned portfolio of active SKU's (range of 1500-2000 SKUs / 70-80 supplier) and (target revenue of 600-800 million annually) 
• Reviews overall supply situation on assigned portfolio of SKUs and be the central point of contact to communicate strategic supply plan to DC's and Business Units to improve capacity and promotion plans.
• Work with sourcing commodity management team to escalate supply shortages to executive management minimize disruptions to supply continuity.
• Collaborate with BUs Directors to provide regular updates on inventory projections. Lead weekly supply review meetings to discuss supply shortages and recommend mitigation strategies. Escalate to leadership any issues that arise.
• Monitor and track inventory levels, service levels, surplus/obsolete inventory, vendor performance, and any other relevant KPIs to identify variance from goals. Use all available resources to analyze root causes and recommend possible actions to improve KPI results
• Interface with Sourcing and Inbound Logistics to ensure supply timeliness and escalate issues with vendor delivery performance.
• Provide a rolling 6 to 12 month purchase forecast (by commodity / by supplier) to enable supplier to allocate adequate capacity to meet future needs.
• Understanding of distribution processes and constraints, and setting supply parameters to drive availability (e.g., Lead Times, SS, MOQs etc).
• Prepare supply constraints and recommend resolution scenarios for discussion in the cross-functional S&OP processes.
• Monitor and provide actionable feedback on supplier performance to Sourcing team and BUs on a quarterly basis.
• Review and resolve any tactical inventory rebalancing of inventory between DC's based on regional demand  by working with distribution team.
• Evaluate impact of demand opportunities and risks.
• Receive & authorize all purchase orders and ensure compliance company policy and procedure.
• Monitor all purchase orders and maintain effective relationship with vendors, planners and sourcing team.
• Develop and maintain close relationship with new vendors and manage items information, and update purchasing data in systems.
• Monitor potential stock out caused by delivery delay etc. and take necessary actions to ensure availability of product.
• Manage all communication and negotiate with suppliers on delivery terms to reduce inventory levels and cost.
• Initiate and lead process improvement projects to drive better efficiencies and yield improvement in KPIs.

Job Requirement

Education 

• Bachelor degree.

Experience

• 3 -5 Year of Experience in supply chain and overseas shipping 

Computer Skills

• MS Office Suite – Oracle applications – Advanced database management.
