About Lean

Lean enables companies to seamlessly connect to their users’’ bank accounts to initiate real-time payments and retrieve their account information. Our products have garnered the trust of leading companies and enabled them to deliver powerful experiences when connected with a user’s bank account, allowing users to perform prudent financial planning, get better rates on loans, transfer money to friends, and more, without compromising on privacy or security.
Some of Lean’s clients include the likes of Tabby, Tas’heel, Tawuniya, Hungerstation, and many more, making it the region’s most valuable Open Banking platform. The company has now processed over a billion dollars, and its products are also connected with hundreds of thousands of accounts. Lean envisions a fully inclusive financial ecosystem that serves everyone, no matter where they bank or live in the MENA region.

About the role

As an Implementations Manager at Lean, you will play a vital role in guiding our clients through the technical implementation of our products. This position is essential for ensuring that our clients' engineering and product teams are not only unblocked but also motivated to complete integrations efficiently and effectively. To do this you will need to act as a project manager and gain the trust of the client’s team to the point that they treat you as one of their own. When issues arise you will be responsible for escalating issues to the appropriate parties, whether they are within Lean or the client's organization.
A successful Implementations Manager is both consultative and technical, possessing the ability to manage the full onboarding cycle from contract signing through to launch. You will collaborate across various departments, including Sales, Technical Services, Product, and Engineering, to ensure a seamless transition for our clients. Your role is key in turning our clients into long-term, satisfied users of Lean's products.

What you’ll do

Utilize your technical expertise to create scalable and robust solutions for client integrations, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Leverage project management and technical consulting skills to oversee high-quality project delivery, guaranteeing the technical integrity of client integrations.
Serve as the trusted advisor and lead point of contact for customers throughout the implementation phase, tracking progress and ensuring successful and timely launches.
Establish and maintain communication with all levels of technical stakeholders, from project managers to senior leadership, during the implementation period.
Support ongoing testing efforts by troubleshooting and providing technical insights.
Work cross-functionally to improve the customer onboarding experience, collecting and translating customer feedback into meaningful product insights for our Product and Engineering teams.
Ensure a streamlined handoff to the Customer Success team upon completion of the implementation phase.

Requirements

High level of curiosity and a willingness to learn, coupled with a strong work ethic.
Proficiency in Arabic to effectively communicate with our clients in the region and understand their needs comprehensively.
Exceptional project management and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding of modern software languages and frameworks such as Python and Javascript. You should be able to call APIs and query using SQL. If you are a full stack engineer who wants to be more client facing, this is a great role for you.
3+ years of experience integrating and/or providing technical consultation to software teams. Experience working with Enterprise customers is a bonus.
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDKs, etc.).
Strong communication skills; comfortable leading meetings with high-level decision-makers.
Prior experience at a growth-stage software company or a payments company is a bonus.
We do not expect you to meet all of the above requirements, so if you’re missing a few do not hesitate to apply. The most important requirement is curiosity and willing to put in the work to fill those gaps after you start!

NB. While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply!!
