Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data modeling and database design, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in deploying enterprise-grade, internet-based Field Service Management applications. Demonstrated experience with large-scale (multi-regional or global) enterprise application deployments.
Job Description:
The IFS Technical Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex application platforms. This role involves overseeing the deployment of enterprise-level applications, managing database systems, integrating technologies, and ensuring optimal performance across large-scale environments. The architect will also consult on infrastructure design, disaster recovery, and security requirements.
Detailed Responsibilities:

Architecture and Design: Architect, design, and develop enterprise-grade Field Service Management applications. Oversee the deployment and maintenance of complex application platforms, including servers, load-balancers, and application security. Manage large-scale application deployments on a multi-regional or global scale. -
Database Management: Design and manage databases with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Oracle. Develop data models and oversee database design. -
Application Development: Develop and deploy distributed web applications, including those using .NET and DCOM architectures. Integrate server-side technology with mobility solutions (iOS and Android platforms). -
Technology Integration: Utilize and integrate various technologies including enterprise application frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, .NET Framework) and protocols (e.g., SOAP, HTTP, TCP/UDP). Handle middleware integration with web services such as BizTalk, Scribe, Websphere, WebLogic, and SAP. -
ETL and BI Tools: Utilize ETL and Business Intelligence analytic tools for application deployment and data management. -
Networking and Security: Understand networking and security setups that impact application installation and configuration. Ensure adherence to information security requirements. -
Infrastructure Consulting: Design IFS system environments and provide support for IFS projects. Review system requirements for new projects and billing systems. Support infrastructure design and disaster recovery environment design. Consult on the development and establishment of new systems. Develop and manage interconnection system services. -
Performance Management: Manage platform and solution design issues to ensure system availability and optimal performance levels. Experience with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) deployment and concepts.
Skills & Expertise:
Technical Skills: Expertise in deploying and managing complex application platforms, including servers and load-balancers.
Database Management: Proficiency in database management, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Oracle.
Application Development: Knowledge of distributed web applications and enterprise application frameworks.
